Kim and Andy’s wedding at Saint Claire in downtown San Jose

This post is a bit late in coming and I apologize. Ive had so much on my plate, it’s sometime hard to keep up. I really do intend to post a blog on every wedding I shoot, unless the couple wants to keep their wedding private. This wedding was right around the corner from my studio, so it was nice to be able to just go down the street. Most weekends I’m all over the bay area! Kim and Andy had a fantastic wedding! One of the highlights of the evening was watching Andy’s dance performance for his bride!

;

We started the day in the rooms where Kim was getting ready. After taking a few pictures, I went down to the lobby to take a few pictures of the guys before Andy and Kim had their reveal moment before the ceremony.

Before the ceremony,we went over to the elegant City Hall building to take pictures of the bridal party.

The ceremony took place in one of the rooms at Saint Clair hotel. After the bridal party had proceeded, Kim walked up the aisle with her dad.

The rest of the evening was filled with more fun and laughs. Enjoy the pictures!

Ten years ago, I left the mortgage and real estate business to pursue photography, which is a passion of mine. The mortgage business was excellent at that time but I was tired of it. I had a daughter that was just born and I wanted to do something that would allow me to spend more time with her and at the same time do what I wanted. I knew that I enjoyed people photography and soon discovered that I have a very real and special talent for it. I discovered that I was particularly good at capturing moments and revealing emotions through pictures. This came instinctively for me and allowed me to develop a style that was very comfortable for me to work in. My photography quickly became popular in the bay area and I've earned a large number of referral businesses as a result. In fact, i'd say I most of my business growth is the result of referrals from clients and online sites like Yelp. I currently have a studio in downtown San Jose and photograph weddings and portraits all over the bay area and California.
